Our choices in Belfast include the Europa and the Culloden while in Dublin we like to use the Gresham Hotel.

In the Cork area we like to use Actons Hotel in the beautiful little village of Kinsale.

The Belfast Titanic Maritime Festival offers a weekend of fun and activity for all ages.

The festival will be held from Friday 24th June 2011 to Sunday 26th June 2011 at Queens Quay and Abercorn Basin.

There will be pirate re-enactments on the river Lagan. Watch the “Zebu” and the “Vilma” fire their cannons and do battle.

The HMS Bounty will also visit Belfast along with the Lord Nelson and the Pelican.

Other vessels will include the Johanna Lucretia and the Irene.

Belfast’s city centre is fairly compact and and easy to wander around.

The heart of the old city can be found in the narrow atmospheric lanes of the comercial district , the Entries , about five minutes’ walk northeast of Donegall Square.

On a grander scale , many of Belfast’s most handsome buildings , evidence of the city’s tranformation during the Industrial Revolution , are concentrated further north and east , between St. Anne’s Cathedral and the River Lagan. 

Right by the river you’ll find the Lagan Weir and a little further south , the huge new Laganside development, currently focused on the Waterfront Hall.
